Community Guidelines
Tyluna is for real people who want to meet each other. These guidelines explain what we expect from every member, so everyone can feel comfortable. They sit alongside our Terms of Service and our Safety Tips.
The short version
- Be real. Your photos, age and answers should be genuinely yours.
- Be kind. Treat people the way you would want to be treated, especially when you are not interested.
- Respect "no". If someone stops replying, passes, blocks you or says no, that is the end of it.
- Keep it safe. Never ask for money, never share anyone's private details, and report anything that worries you.
Be honest about who you are
- Use photos that are really of you, taken recently, where your face can be seen. No celebrity, stock or AI-generated photos, and no photos of someone else.
- Be at least 18 years old, and give your real age.
- One account per person. Do not pretend to be someone else, and do not create an account for someone who has not agreed.
- Do not say you are single, verified or available if you are not.
- Photos that include other people are only welcome when they have agreed to appear. If you ask to meet at an event, be yourself there too.
Be respectful
- No harassment, bullying, threats, insults or hate toward anyone, including because of race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, age or appearance.
- No unwanted sexual messages, images or requests. Nudity and sexually explicit content do not belong on profiles, in prompt answers or in photos.
- Do not keep messaging someone who has not replied or who has said they are not interested. Do not try to get around a block by making a new account.
- Disagreement is fine. Personal attacks are not.
Keep it safe
- Never ask for money, gift cards, cryptocurrency, loans, or help with an "emergency", and never send money to someone you have met here. This is the most common scam pattern.
- Do not use Tyluna to sell, advertise, recruit or promote a business, a service, a link or another app.
- Do not share another person's private details (name, workplace, address, phone number, screenshots of private chats) without their permission.
- No illegal activity, and no content that promotes violence, self-harm or the exploitation of anyone.
- Only share your own phone number or social accounts when you feel ready. The prompt shown before a number is sent is there to help you pause.
- Before meeting in person, read our Safety Tips and consider a Safety Check-In.
At events and on Double Dates
- Your ticket is for you (and the guests you registered). Do not resell tickets or pass them on outside the app's transfer option.
- Follow the host's and venue's instructions, and treat staff and other guests with respect.
- The same rules apply in person as online. Anyone who makes others feel unsafe may be asked to leave and may lose access to events and the app.
Photos, answers and messages
- You own what you post, and you are responsible for it. Do not post content that belongs to someone else, or that you do not have the right to share.
- Prompt answers and messages must follow the same rules as everything else here.
- Use Hidden Words to filter language you do not want to see, and Block at any time. Blocking is private and instant.
How reporting works
- Open any profile or conversation and tap Report (or Block). You can also email support@tyluna.com.
- Reports are read by a person on our team. Reports are kept confidential and the person you report is not told who reported them.
- Include what happened and, if you can, screenshots. In an emergency, contact local emergency services first.
- We review reports as quickly as we can, but we cannot promise a specific time or outcome for every report.
What happens when the rules are broken
Depending on what happened and how serious it is, we may:
- remove a photo, answer or message,
- send a warning,
- limit what an account can do, or suspend it for a time,
- permanently remove the account, with or without notice for serious or repeated cases,
- cancel event access, and
- where the law requires it, or someone may be in danger, share information with the authorities.
Serious harm (threats, sexual exploitation, anyone under 18, scams and fraud) leads straight to removal.
If you think we got it wrong
If your account was limited or removed and you believe that was a mistake, write to support@tyluna.com from the email address on the account and tell us what happened. A person will look at it again.
Thank you
